Steven Srebnik, PT, MSPT, MS, CHT

Steven W. Srebnik, PT, MSPT, MS, CHT is the founder and owner of Performance Rehabilitation which opened in 1991. Prior to this endeavor, Mr. Srebnik received two Master of Science degrees with distinction from Boston University (Applied Anatomy & Physiology - 1984 & Physical Therapy - 1986). Subsequently, he started his career at Lenox Hill Hospital. Since then, Mr. Srebnik has been a teacher and devoted clinician. He was a graduate teaching fellow while at Boston University and has guest lectured at NYU. He also developed and taught his own continuing education course entitled Electrical Modalities for the Physical and Occupational Therapist. Presently he is an adjunct clinical professor at New York Medical College. While Mr. Srebnik has a diverse and well-developed orthopedic background, his primary focus is directing the facility's hand and upper extremity rehabilitation department. He is credentialed as a certified hand therapist and a member of the APTA and ASHT.

Antonio Vitto, PT, DPT received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Drexel University. Becoming a traveling physical therapist after graduation afforded him a wealth of knowledge and experience by working with a diverse group of therapists throughout the country. Since working at Performance Rehabilitation he has volunteered as part of the medical support team for various community events and for the Yonkers and Westchester marathons. He provides free lectures at our facility for the community pertaining to arthritis and back pain. In addition to orthopedics he has a general interest in hand therapy and developing a program for managing obesity. He is a adjunct professor at New York Medical College and clinical director of the Bronx location.

Christopher DiSisto, PT, DPT

Christopher DiSisto, PT, DPT received his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from New York Medical College. Christopher enjoys working with our orthopedic/sports and neurological populations but also has a special interest in the hand. While at NYMC he completed a hand teaching practicum as part of his doctoral dissertation and has also served as an adjunct professor at the medical college. He is currently a member of the American Physical Therapy Association as well as the Sports and Orthopedic Physical Therapy section. Chris' community service interests include coordinating our Peak Performance injury prevention and performance enhancement program. He is also acting clinical instructor for student physical therapists observing at our Yonkers facility.

Taruna Rijhwani, PT, MS was originally formally trained as a physical therapist at Topiwala National Medical College in India. She came to the US in 2008 to study and receive her Master of Science in Musculoskeletal Physical Therapy from the University of Pittsburgh. Having attained a post-graduate degree in physical therapy has afforded her an excellent knowledge of orthopedics and manual therapy. Her quiet yet confident and friendly interaction with her patients has helped develop her reputation as a caring and effective clinician.
